Replacement E3D 2 Wire Molex Connector Set
These connectors are used on most all E3D Hotend components, such as the extruder fan plug, the thermistor cartridge (or Pt100 / PT1000), Part Cooling Fans, and even on Premium Grade (Green Wired With Disconnect 24V) Heater Cartridge.
These Molex Connectors are officially known as Molex Micro-Fit 3.0™ Connectors. We have finally received permission to distribute the officially licensed connectors (Authorized Distributor - which is part of the reason these are so impossible to ever replace as this validation must be granted to even sell this brand's products!) that no clone can rival the quality and perfect size and ease of use for 3D printer hotend or any part you wish to have a quick detach for!
However, we will also provide kits that allow any 3D printer builder to use these excellent detachable 2 core wires for any and all of your hotend components to easily detach from your hotend wiring loom!
These connectors once gone bad, or accidentally come detached means there is NO WAY to ever fix your various hotend components that use these very special connectors. We use them in our builds so frequently and have stripped, torn, or accidentally cut an E3D component using these wire connectors and found that they are VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to source! Micro-Fit 3.0™ Connectors are a 3.00mm pitch high-density, low-power connector system available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations with SMT and through-hole options and up to 5.0A to meet low- to mid-range power application needs. Molex’s Micro-Fit 3.0 Interconnects offer users a low- to mid-range power-distribution solution with the highest current in the smallest footprint available today. Based on a 3.0mm centerline Micro-Fit 3.0 is available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations, SMT and through-hole processing, 2 to 24 circuits, and single- and dual-row versions. Micro-Fit 3.0 Connectors can be purchased in pure tin, or one of two thicknesses of select gold to provide cost savings. Contacts are fully isolated on each side of the interface to eliminate potential arcing and incorporate four points of contact for redundancy. The housings utilize positive-lock features to prevent accidental disconnects. Micro-Fit 3.0 Interconnects are UL recognized, CSA approved and TUV licensed. All components are lead-free, RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and glow wire capable.
